Tango Down Vertical Grip Battlegrip BGV-ITI foregrip was designed, engineered and manufactured with one achievement in mind: to offer improved functionality in a foregrip that can withstand the toughest combat weapon applications. Improved ergonomics of the Tango Down Battlegrip vertical grip were an important goal in the development of BGV-ITI. Notice the large overall diameter and unique cross-section of the grip, which actually reduces fatigue and finger cramping during long periods of use. Pronounced and radiused horizontal ribs enhance vertical control when under full automatic fire, without compromising comfort. Softened external edges prevent snags and finger cuts under rapid weapon movement. The waterproof to 66' storage compartment cap is easy to locate and manipulate even under low light conditions, and has a safety leash to prevent loss. Another primary design goal was to create a 'bomb-proof' grip mounting system that would prevent dramatic loosening or outright separation from the gun in the event of major impact. You'll find that our Patent-Pending dual locking bars provide a simple, yet substantial mounting interface to any Mil-Std 1913 rail. The bars are wedge shaped in cross-section to ensure positive engagement with the rail cross cuts at all times, and prevent any grip movement. A single corrosion-proof, heat treated stainless steel spring exerts equal amounts of pressure on both locking bars and allows installation and removal of the grip in the field without tools. Precision machined rail grooves, with tightly controlled tolerances, are performed after injection molding to ensure a perfect wobble-free fit to any Mil-spec rail. We were also dedicated to loading it with features that were operator desired, but yet to be combined into a rugged combat-grade component. A removeable filler panel slides out of the battlegrip to reveal an integrated pressure switch pocket. This feature allows positive and secure installation of weapon-mounted light pressure switches on the grip itself when needed. The dove tailed pocket traps the switch and prevents unwanted movement or separation from the vertical grip. No more -less than satisfactory mounting methods such as Velcro or duct tape that go soft and fail in desert heat. The filler panel may be placed inside the grip for storage. When pressure switch use is not required, the filler panel locates back into the pocket to provide a continuous, comfortable grip shape. The cavernous internal waterproof to 66' storage compartment is large enough to fit spare batteries, weapon system spare parts (including an entire M4/M16 bolt assembly), medical supplies as well as other necessary combat items. The contents are protected by an O-ringed cap that allows easy access by wet, gloved hands. All polymer components of BGV-ITI battlegrip foregrip are the latest in resins technology. Ultra high impact, fiberglass-reinforced materials were selected for their superior brute strength and heat resistant properties, regardless of cost.
