Designed for the M4 / M16 / AR-15 weapon series, this unique grip has the ability to internally store two Aimpoint-type power cells in addition to two AA or 123 lithium batteries all in a water and dust resistant cavity, sealed by an easy-to-access cover. The batteries contained inside the indestructible injection-molded housing are for immediate access and can be removed in a heartbeat for installation in night vision, IR/visible laser aimers, weapon white lights and Aimpoint/Eotech-type electronic sights. Spare batteries are where they need to be..in the gun. Even operator carried electronics can benefit from Battlegrip's spare battery storage ability. Battlegrip also features a proven ergonomic form that provides substantial shooter comfort over any other combat grip. The grip backstrap is curved and shaped to fill and support the operators hand and give proper trigger finger position. The front strap is devoid of finger grooves, which prevent the weapon from getting as low as possible in the shooters hand. The front strap also extends upward and covers the sharp trigger guard lugs, preventing painful abrasion of the index finger after rapid rifle movement. An aggressive texture wraps both panels and provides a positive, non-slip surface even under weak firing hand transitions. All edges and corners are softly radiused to aid smooth, rapid operation of fire selector, trigger and magazine release functions. Battlegrip was created to be the toughest combat grip ever attached to a U.S.Military rifle. The very latest in state of the art resins technology was chosen for the grip housing and flexible cover. They are permanently bonded together and are impervious to the effects of gun solvents and lubricants.The Patent-Pending flexible cover has multiple molded-in seals to protect the grip's contents from dirt or water, and can easily be accessed by gloved hands in the dark. The flexible cover acess tab is protected and designed to only open by hand. Extreme airborne operations or 'butt stroking' will not inadvertantly release batteries.
